Volt Auto Upgrade Lite is a lightweight QoL mod (WIP) that automatically marks newly built entities for upgrade to the best unlocked tier β€” so your construction bots can handle upgrades without constantly using an upgrade planner.

I’m currently working on my first Factorio mod:
Volt Auto Upgrade Lite (WIP)

A lightweight QoL mod that automatically marks newly built entities for upgrade to the best unlocked tier.
The goal is to reduce the constant need for upgrade planners during normal building: you place lower-tier entities and the mod marks them for upgrade so construction bots can handle it later.

Current Features (Work in Progress)

Auto-upgrade marking on build

Multiplayer friendly approach

per-player enable/disable toggle
server controls category settings
No on_tick logic β†’ event-driven and low overhead
