I have been playing Factorio since 1.0 was released, and today I discovered something new in the game. Roboports have names!

When you hover over a placed Roboport, in the tool tip's title it will say "Roboport <name>", where <name> is one of the early supporter names like they use for train stops.

It is no big deal. It's just that I am surprised that I haven't noticed it before now...

Radars and labs as well.

I personally don't like the Backer Names feature; since it reminds me that I missed the opportunity to join the hype train early enough to take part. Also, most of the usernames are silly looking.

Luckily, there is a mod for that:

• Namelists
• Renamer

I think it is a great feature. The train stations have really memorable names. In the sense that you can actually recognize stations after very few times their name comes up.

I hope many have my name as train station

I never noticed this either, but once you see it you cannot unsee it.
