List of Challenges

Hi there,

I thought about starting a new round of factorio. For this porpuse I want to spice things up.
So I came up wirth some challenges or restictions to make things more intresting. Maybe you have ideas too as I have still not decided wich one to do.
My ideas are:

Biters gonna bite:
Set Biters to maximum frequency, size and richness
Set starting area to small
Pollute the crap out of the planet :twisted: . Use coal miner, burning inserter, stone/steel smelters and steam engines instead of these eco-nonsense as much as possible.

Thy Auld swamp:
Set water to the max
Set high oil (You don`t need the space anyways)
Set low coal (Wet coal does not burn well :lol: )

Factorio Towns: (Idea by MangledPork Gaming)
Set water too small
Set every Ressource but oil to min frequency and size
Set oil to min frequency, max size and max richness
Build "small towns" on every deposit you use. No crazy main bus.
If deposit is empty reporpuse the town to more advanced products and supply them via train.

Mega Train:
Load at least a full stack of every single item in Factorio into a train and drive it on a track.

Mega Bus:
Use a main bus design, before using any item put them on your main bus. at the end of the bus every single item in factorio must be on a beltlane. (Wood and fish items not necessary)

I tried the Biters gonna bite one and it does not work.

The most challenging one I could cope with was:

Enemy Bases

Frequency: Normal
Size: Big
Richness Very Good

Sarting Area: Small (Maybe Medium is better because I had to mine much stuff by hand to avoid pollution)

Here you cant handcraft anything ... you need a furnances for it.
I use it and its great!
