i just noticed,there is tooons of red boxes on map,and minimap...what they are for? (p.s. click Alt to see them)

question:can polution decrease only trees? or some blocks from mods too?

The pollution is decreased by trees and by time per chunk. So the more the pollution spreads, the more is absorbed.

In mods they build in also devices, which actively reduce pollution. In some mods you can plant trees, which do then that.

Edit: I forgot: pollution is also decreased by the worms. But I reworked the wiki-page completely.
