Building rails easily

Hello,
In the
Factorio - Gameplay Trailer video,
at 1:16, we can see the player building multiple connecting rails with only one click.

I didn't find how to do that.
Is this really possible ? Is this a mod ?

The trailer is slightly disingenuous in this regard: that particular feature will be added in the next major version of the game, but is not present in the versions currently available now.

I know your question was already answered and this isn't exactly what your looking for, but may I suggest check out FARL? It doesn't do it like shown in the video but certainly makes laying track easier over long distances.
