I have the Steam version of the game.
I simply want to replay my save I started in 0.12.24, but when I try to it claims I cannot because the current version is 0.12.29.
Is there a way to update the replay, or downgrade my game?

Yes, you can downgrade in properties -> betas.

If you saved New Hope 2 with 0.12.25 at least once, you'll probably have to restart this particular map. A bug in 0.12.25 corrupted the savegame. Was fixed with 0.12.26, ingame, but there is no way to repair the savegame.
If it's something else, the game should be backwards compatible with your savegame. Can you post it here ?

I downgraded successfully but now it will not let me replay the game because the save file is updated to 0.12.29. How annoying.

The game loads for me.
However, there's an error message saying something about radar-mk2 that can't be loaded. Did you start the game with some mods, and remove them befose saving ?
[Edit] I'm stupid : I don't have your mods Could there be a problem with one of your mods ?

I want to play a Replay of the game, not just load it normally. I have never used any mods so I am not sure what that error could be.

Sorry, nothing can fix that.

Ah yeah replay is made impossible as soon as you change version, or mod at any moment.
