The game attempts to smelt raw ore and iron plate (when crafting steel) when they are in your inventory.This occurs when you have less than the needed refined resources but have raw resources. This freezes the queue and you must manually cancel the actions even if you acquire the refined resources. It only happens in new games started on the v0.2.9, while ore is broken in saves from the last version.

I also see the same behavior.

For example, if I have enough for four Transportation Belts, and right click, ordering 5, the first production order will be to smelt two iron plates, then the correct gears, then the belts. If I have enough for 5 belts, and right click, I get 5 belts.
