Not really a bug, just a little oversight (I think):

In the new 'Rail world' game settings preset the frequency and size of the resources has been altered from the default normal/medium to very low/big. Except for uranium, because that's still the default. Is this intentional? (Oil only lowered to being low frequency is OK I guess.)

Yes this is intentional, the resource frequency of uranium is already lower than usual, lowering it further made it spawn too rarely
