Can't maximize window

I have the problem where the game will start in a smaller not maximize window, then when I got to maximize it the game with either not finish loading or give me a error message says that there might not be enough video memory for the sprites.

Yes it will finish loading and be playable. but it starts in such a tiny window.

What version of RivaTuner Statistics Server do you have? Do you have the issue even if you disable RTSS for Factorio?

Holy crap! Yes is I quit msi afterburner Factorio loads and everything is just fine. That is a weird error.

You might need to update or downgrade RTTS depending on version you use.
It inserts itself between a game and DirectX and if there is a bug in it, it can cause graphical issues or crashes.
Alternativelly, you can try to set launch options in Factorio properties in Steam Library to
