[16.36] light isn't red when reading train signal

Long subject: Light isn't red when reading train signal when set with circuit.

Light is enabled when '0' = 0, which is always true.

Some pictures, train before signal, is green:

Light is red when automatically set, with train halfway over the signal, but not yet on next signal:

Park the train beyond the next signal, the signal is red, but the light is white: (it doesn't matter which color wire is attached to the light)

Attached: saved demo game, and only using one mod, the creative mode mod to create demo. I know in pictures you see other mods, but I removed them and tested with only the base vanilla game and the creative mod and got the same result.

And that post says to repost if you think it's a bug. I think it's a bug if you can't read the signal's color when the rail signal is closed with a circuit, don't you?

No, that was in reference of the original report being so ambiguous that it was not clear what was even reported, the tooltip even states exactly the case you reported. You can find an explanation here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=31274 but that report is originally not about the same issue.

Okay,

Twinsen's explanation makes a little sense, that they designed that there be a fourth "color" for when the rail signal is influenced by a circuit. I sure wish that it showed that on the rail signal itself. Otherwise, I'm sure, they will received endless bug reports such as this.
