I've a little niche section of my base that has output of 12 lanes, usually uneven and I want to fill trains to transport it away. If I can balance the output to 8 lanes I can fill most of 2 four cargo wagon trains. There is too much for 1 four cargo wagon train. And for the foreseeable future I'm not going to use need more of it so I have 24 lanes of output which would neatly fill around 4 trains.

There seem to be a lot of 12 to 4 or 12 to 12 balancers out there but not much in the 12 to 8 variety. I could just have two 6 to 4 balancers feed into 8-8 balancer but it's not neat and rectangular. Any know a good 12 wide X tall compact 12-8 balancer?

12 belts are perfectly balanced onto 8 wagons by having 1.5 belts per wagon, so jut use a 12 to 12 balancer.

What I do is I use a 16-16 balancer for all stations and just leave inputs empty if I don't need them. Standardization is king imo.
