Optimal Wall Defense

I’m working on optimizing my wall defenses and am having a hard time finding the range of the Spitters.
It looks like the range of the Laser is 25 and the Gun Turret is 17, is that correct?

I’m thinking of a system that will being the Spitters in close to be killed, but at the same time keeping the Bitters away from the walls. (As a bonus, I’m collecting the corpses – Dytech)

Anyone know the optimal placement of the Lasers, Guns, Walls and the Transport direction split?
