[0.17.31] Car disappears when picked up into full inventory

I drove around in my car containing 50 fuel and 200 rounds equipped, picked up some more stuff than I started with then picked up the car with 2 open inventory slots left. The "inventory full" message showed up, but the car disappeared. Not sure where it could have gone.
