Assembling machines' crafting speed

If I add a speed module 3 with +50% to an assembling machine 1 with 50% crafting speed, will the crafting speed become 75% or 100%? According to the wiki the bonuses from modules are additive, but I couldn't find a clarification whether this includes the assembling machines' inherent modifiers.

Crafting speed is a separate modifier, it is not additive.

But good luck finding a slot on your assembling machine 1 to insert a module. ;)

Iirc the bonus is additive, then it multiples by the base

Onya Dave, way to be a smart ass :lol:

For those of you playing the home game, AM1's can't take Modules, hence Dave's comment.

Crafting speed = AM's speed * (1 + module[n] + module[n-1] + ... + module[1]) {equiv.}
Where module[] is a decimal value as dictated by the module's speed bonus.
Negative and positive values directly cancel before any multiplying.
In stock Factorio, for AM1 n = 0, for AM2 n = 2, for AM3 n = 4.

Apparently my logic/programmer mind becomes more pronounced late at night. :ugeek:
