[0.16.51] Unexpected error occurred right after start-up Game

Hey!
Since today I'm experiencing game crashes right after the game is loaded. I'm able to scroll through some menu's if I'm quick, but it always freezes and then gives me an "unexpected error occurred" error. I've tried restarting my pc and updating my updates for both my windows & graphics card. Each launch gives me the same crash.
I've been playing the campaign yesterday and have a couple save files, last weekend I've played multiplayer and both runs were very smooth without issues.
Tried looking online but couldn't find a solution, so here I am.
FYI: I have the game via Steam. No mods installed, as far as I know.
