Steam Account Link on wrong Account
So I have a friend who I bought factorio years ago. Recently we tried to play together but he doesn't have his old account that is linked to his steam. I also don't think he has the gmail account made with the factorio account anymore. What do I do to help him?

Contact support@factorio.com and include all information including proof of purchase, account names, email addresses, steam ID of the linked account and anything else you can think of helpful.

He can also do the same for Steam: provide the bank/pay information, etc. Factorio's one game, his steam account probably had a bunch more right? Steam Support is generally helpful and responsive. If his account wasn't hacked, it's a lot more likely he's an honest user trying to get an old account back.
