Graphical Bug with saturated belts

I'm not quite sure, whether this is a bug or rather a suggestion, but here you go.
When you have a saturated belt, the items slightly overlap. However, on specific corners, the overlapping seems to switch.
Currently, the item which is more to right/bottom of the screen appears on top, but when doing a 180 degree turn, this obviously changes which item is on top.

I think, it would make more sense for the items behind on the belt to always be on top of the one before them.
This will require some processing time (the overlay has to depend on the direction of the belt), but I don't know, whether it will have a measurable impact on performance.
