I did some searching, but didn't notice anyone discuss it, so I thought I would toss this out here. When there is a situation where a lot of bots are waiting around a roboport waiting to charge, it seems to be that it currently is a FIFO system.

What I am suggesting is to change it so that the bots prioritize charging based on whether or not it is carrying an item. I would much rather give priority to the bot that actually has something that it needs to do, rather than the bots that are waiting to charge and dock.

Or maybe there is a reverse priority on bots just waiting to charge and dock? That way bots that are on their way to get something still get priority, but bots who are just waiting to charge and dock get lower priority.

I think the bots just waiting for charging have the same priority to charge, than those with items, because they can pick up a new item...
But with the construction bots your solution is eventually more useful.
