When palying space exploration on linux i noticed i was using a lot of memory even usign the swap and not remembering it hapening on windows.
So i did some testing and now see that linux is using way more memry then windwos 5 - 15x.

Any reason why linux would be using so much more ram then windows?

There's other substantial differences between the configs on the systems you're comparing but this … why are you asking about the size difference between a bitmap and a jpeg as if the OS mattered?

Sinse on windows it dint have the NONE option i tought their wasent much of a difrence between HIGH QUALITY and NONE but i guess the difrence is prety big.
Changing it to HIGH QUALITY has fixed this problem for me.

I dint know i was comparing a bitmap and a jpeg.
Thank you for your help.
