Re: [0.10.11][linux] copying/cuting text out of command console
Just chiming in I encountered this problem today on ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS with linux kernel 6.0.11. And game version 1.1.74. I don't know if the binary copy part was encountered but I was unable to copy from the game to the OS's clipboard. Restarting the game fixed this issue, at least temporarily. I m...

I appreciate the response. Is there someway to close this post so I can leave it for others to find later?Klonan wrote:Probably some mod or script was recharting the whole map, so the radar revealed chunks had to wait

[0.16.37] Radar isn't revealing map
When viewing world through map the game never shows details like when viewing 3rd person on player, even at player's location. Everything appears to be not within a radars range even though trains within range of radars are updating. Deconstructing and constructing radar doesn't fix this. I haven't ...

Faster charging?! I hope this mod comes with a new power source to keep up.CookieGamerTV wrote:They are only faster Charging have a bigger size and can launch more per Port.Kane wrote:I assume they can deploy more etc. But good point they should be included in the description of each one.

Re: [MOD 0.12.7]Useful Space Industry[0.2.0](12th September)
Also umm i will ask about the possibillity of destroying the ozon layer using CFC gas(really useful, but very(!!) bad stuff that we luckily phased out!) and then sending down the energy as UV-C waves  ! To take advantage of current game mechanics while maintaining some scientific accuracy ...

The 7-9 MW per receiver makes this a really excellent modular power source. No more running power lines out to distant mines and outposts.

Re: [MOD 0.12.7]Useful Space Industry[0.2.0](12th September)
That's an awesome design for the receiver. I found some stuff done by JAXA about space based power . The article says that for laser-based power transmission (hundreds of THz) the receiver needs to be "several hundred meters long" per GW of power, not sure if that is sent or received 1 GW ...

Re: [MOD 0.12.6]Useful Space Industry[0.1.5](14th August)
I love this mod but I am bit concerned after using it for a bit. The power generation seems to be capped at 500 MW, not sure on the exact amount it jumps up and then powers for a short bit before draining completely and starting back up but 480-500 is the range on a 5 second interval. I have launche...

I am fairly certain there are many orbits around an object that orbits a star that will provide uninterrupted star visibility. The bigger problem is having a continuous view of both the receiver and the star. This could be negated with a geostationary satellite that re-transmits the power.
