Re: Friday Facts #398 - Fulgora
First we get Microsoft Flight Simulator on Arrakis, now we get Factorio? If we get mobile worms chasing us through the desert I'm going to be super stoked.

Re: Friday Facts #394 - Assembler flipping and circuit control
What if Pumpjacks flipping rotated through corner, side, corner for the outputs? And also make them transfer through neighbor like mining drills. This way we can output a pumpjack to it's neighbor, then take that output through a pipe to the destination? This could simplify pumpjack pipe spaghetti a...

Re: Friday Facts #389 - Train control improvements
Very cool stuff. I don't do crazy things with trains, but these changes are going to simplify the factory quite a bit. Can't wait to see what else is in store!

Re: Friday Facts #387 - Swimming in lava
With lava being a "minable" resource, will we find the occasional pool of lava on Nauvis now, so that we can utilize this mechanic in late-game, or will this be a mechanice exclusive to Vulcanus?

Re: Friday Facts #382 - Logistic groups
When you mentioned that a 'stack' of Uranium was enough to research 1000 science, I figured there would be some serious limits on what we could send to space. I was guessing 1 stack, but this weight restriction is interesting. Can't wait to see how it works on other planet's gravity! Question: Is th...

Re: Game Mode support for Apple Silicone
I tried those steps, even fiddled with the Full Screen settings in Factorio but none of them seem to turn it on. When I launch RimWorld I get a notification that Game Mode has been turned on and the menu bar displays a controller icon. I also noticed that RimWorld doesn't act the same as Factorio in...

Game Mode support for Apple Silicone
I recently upgraded my MacBook M1 to Sonoma 14.0, and when I launch RimWorld it recognizes that it's a game and puts the Mac into Game Mode. Factorio doesn't do that. I've searched around online and I can't find a way to tell the Mac that Factorio is a game so it gives it more focused resources. Is ...

Re: Mac not auto updating
Whoops. Looks like my Mac autocorrected Wube to Tube :-) I purchased from Wube direct. So, update: I had a 1.1.85 sitting on my disk that I had downloaded but never installed, so I used that version to update and when I launched it, Factorio saw there was an update and asked if I wanted to install i...

Mac not auto updating
Mac doesn't seem to see the new updates. Stuck on 1.1.74. Looking for updates doesn't find anything. I purchased directly from Tube so it's not Steam or GoG. I've tested this on two Macs, one Intel, and one M1. I've also tried two different networks in case there is a firewall. I know I can download...

I'll totally boost that speculation train: Wireless signal combinator confirmed?

I think whatever it is is being held by the inserter, and not part of the chest itself. It almost looks like a Green Circuit but that's not right.

Menu Bar shows when in Fullscreen on Mac
Hi there. When I play Factorio on my M1 Mac in Fullscreen, it runs great! Until I move the mouse to the top of the screen and the Mac Menu Bar pops down and interrupts the game. I can't find a way to turn this off. Forum posts seem to say this is just the way Apple handles Fullscreen, but other post...

After reading some other posts about invisible graphics, I tried changing graphics settings and that seems to kick-start Factorio into reloading the graphics. Issue resolved!

Pipe Icon is invisible
I tried replacing the base/graphics/pipe.png file with my own custom one to see if it would work. When I loaded it up, the pipes in my inventory and on the assembly machines was blank. I replaced the file, still blank. I uninstalled Factorio, downloaded new copy from website, still blank. Is there s...

Shift/Ctrl Click Defensive Robots into the World
Ability to Shift-Click or Control-Click your defensive bots out into the world. We waste a ton of time spam-clicking to get up to the full-amount of robot followers. Should follow standard full and half-size stack-size rules up to the full amount of whatever your max-follower count is.

New Train Condition: Has Passenger
No need to set train to manual when you go out to do something. The train won't go back home without passenger.
(Origin: No more setting trains to manual when you get out to do something. Also, your PAX train wonβt got back home w/out you in it!)

Re: Add a slider to increase research and build times
I love this idea. It's like adding Marathon into the game or additional Research-type Mods. Makes us have to re-work the type of factory we are building depending on how we make these sliders. I would also love to have one that adjusts the game day/night cycle so it messes with the solar build ratios.

Re: Filter Long-Handed Inserter
The stack filter inserters have the same issue as the regular filter inserters. You can still only limit things based on one network condition. This means only one inserter per item being pulled out. The 40-space cargo wagon can only have 12 maximum types of items and still have them pulled out base...

Filter Long-Handed Inserter
If we have a cargo wagon with multiple items in it for delivery somewhere else (Like an engineering train or wall-building train) we can have a maximum 12 different items in the train and have them pulled out automatically (one filter inserter per item). Having filterable long-handed inserters would...
