I hope 0.17 will be released soon. I was at the middle of making my new megabase when science changes was announced. Few hundred hours of playtime and maybe even more of planning has been lost changed to experience ;)


Nothing is ever lost or wasted imo in Factorio. I learn something every time ...

I just hope 0.17 releases on January 17th my birthday, i mean that would be perfect. One cannot really ask for much more i think?. Other than well designed light poles of course. First time im scared about HD graphics, really hope they listen, else we could be forced to run low res sprites :(

Seriously that armor should be called something like Levation armor / suit. Bonus effect could let the user levitate over pipes, water, etc. Obviously it should not offer same advantages of other armors. But be more of a utility suit.

Kinda funny how this is belts vs bots this week and conclusion seems to be - bots are fine, belts need buffs and week earlier it was pipes vs bots and conclusion was similar, that pipes need buffs (although bots were not neccesarily fine).

What if instead of stacked belts there were some kind of... Transport Tube, it would be somewhat like a belt, but you wouldn't actually see the items moving around on it. This way the item density could be as high as you want. Perhaps they could even be "virtualized" somewhat and not tracked in ...

I think that technologies should work together, instead of against each other, which belt and boots kinda do atm. They are fighting over doing the same thing.

To me personally, transport belt is a defining and core aspect of Factorio.

I would picture bots as doing something around your base ...

Only thing i rebound why the enter vehicle key and moving map from M to the TAB key. M is just so far away, and i open the map quite a lot. And the TAB key isnt used for anything besides the moving text messages forward, and there isnt really any of those in custom.
