Re: Friday Facts #374 - Smarter robots
It could be interesting to have some of these changes be part of Research tree? So that old behavior is part of initial robot research, and their behavior is then upgraded either through research or some other means, perhaps quality of robots?

So no chance for this to be reconsidered before game will reach it's final life cycle?
This also makes it harder for people to find the the files for when they need to be shared or any other reason when they need to be accessed in general.

Re: Friday Facts #363 - 1.1 is getting close
Logistics taking 1/3 and middle of the Interface is awkward,
even more if you're playing without logistics, then it is super awkward.
Logistics probably would be much better on the left side, Inventory in middle and Crafting on the right side.

Accumulators in both old and new look have horizontal gap between them, while there's none vertically, and they themselves are perceived as square, makes it look a bit odd when looking at their poles

Re: [0.16.51] Arbitrary folder still used for game saves
Workaround for Windows XP can be made, "%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games" can be used alternatively though sticking to known folders is best way as user might move them around on their own

[0.16.51] Arbitrary folder still used for game saves
For some reason Game Saves and other files are still stored in AppData even though Known folder specifically for saved games have been there since Windows Vista (12 years now!). Alternatively FOLDERID_Documents + "\my games" is very popular. p.s. AppData is folder that is hard to backup ma...

4. Possible Solutions. I'm pretty sure you can't sell or trade away games in your Steam library, so activate the product directly to the appropriate Steam user library. I'm guessing that Valve/Steam don't offer appropriate infrastructure for this, otherwise you would already do this. That's actuall...

Why would anyone even buy anything digital from sources other than legal entity like gog/steam/gmg/etc?
If you're buying from private entity, there's high chance it's related to fraud and stolen credit cards.

Re: Minimum and Maximum setting for requester chests
As someone with a bit of Inventory Management background, I need to say that Min/Max does improve efficiency in real world. In Factorio it should have affect too, it of course depends on how bots are utilized, but with min/max you have ability to make optimizations. Expected result: In areas with mo...
