Re: Allow higher quality ingredients to be used in lower quality recipes.
At least, it should be an option you may turn on in an assembler just to use every ingredient as if it all have the same quality.

Code-Convention for circuit networks
Hello everyone! I hope, this place is the right one for my proposal (don't kill me for my bad english...). for the case you think, another sub forum is more suitable for it, please let me know :) A central problem in talking about circuit networks is, that there is no compact way to show someone a c...

Re: Friday Facts #382 - Logistic groups
My main problem to supply my defense with build robots which repair and rebuild destroyed stuff is the fact, that biters destroy them while repairing, because i cannot tell robots to just wait after the attack, before trying to repair and replace. Will there be an automatic way to tell them: wait un...

Re: Friday Facts #376 - Research and Technology
Optimized has to be the last quality tear. Optimized is an absolute maximum value and cannot be increased Optimization is a process. state != process Something in an already optimal state cannot be more optimized than it is already. That's the definition of the word "optimal" You can opti...

Re: Friday Facts #376 - Research and Technology
Are the changes to technology (and I assume the engine additions too) enabled in the 2.0 update or the DLC? I'm not sure about the processing techs being unlocked just by mining a resource. It's weird that mining a piece of uranium tells you the secrets of centrifuges. I think it could be better if...

Re: Expansion hype thread - Any updates on when/if there will be an expansion?
pfff... I'm still waiting since the first announcement for more information. The only one thing i can imagine why they don't show us some of the new stuff until its ready is the fact, that good modders could build the same stuff as mods on their own (We already know that the greater part of the addo...

UPS/FPS slows down to approx. 35 since update
Hello everyone, because i'm unsure, i post it at this place. Perhaps i just doing something wrong. Since the last update (1.1.57) i see heavy UPS/FPS-Drops from (nearly) constant 60 down to 35. this happens, when i'm zooming to max at the map. My CPU runs at 10% in that moment, none of its cores at ...

Re: Friday Facts #365 - Future plans
I want clearly a weather aspect more important in the game. There should be rainy days with less solar production. Even better with regional affects, which makes desserts more effective for solar. And changing wind direction, which influences the direction of pollution, making it more unpredictable ...

Re: Version 0.17.10
What I'd still like to see is: -way to move items (shortcuts) in the quickbar by dragging them, the middle click method is too much hassle (middle clicking itself is fine, but if you want to swap two items you need to temporarily use a third slot to put one...) Doesn't it work this way now? You can...

Re: Version 0.17.9
Disabling station with train waiting in it doesn't force the train to departure anymore so it works as it worked in 0.16. It looked like a useful change for 0.17, but we can control train conditions by circuit network and there are some nice and simple use cases were ruined by trains being forced t...

But I'd like if a distinction between "signal is zero" and "signal is not present" were added. Most entities would continue to work as now - Outputting a signal results in that signal being present - Reading a signal that isn't present is treated as zero For arithmetic (mainly t...

There are people that should find themselves something to do - I mean something more interesting than continuously F5-ing the release subforum to see it the update is there. There is also mechanic that belts can transport items around your factory, you should check it out, it is pretty neat alternative use of belts ;) That cannot be, sure you don't mention a mod or something like that? Re: Simple Solution To Thundering Train Herd
it solves alot of whats discussed in "more vanilla train functionality" threads, but i think you cant imagine the many ways you can screw it up. If you think its fire and forget, you are in for some fun :D Yeah, that's my problem with LTN and other train-scheduling-mods: You have to use t...
