Re: How to live own life waiting for 0.15?
My Factorio weekends have turned into work, I spend hours coding for a couple of projects... that I'll never finish because 0.15 will be out sooner than my deadlines and life will be happier again

Re: Version 0.13.6
What I do to avoid the map generation crazyness is to use a seed (map generation algorithmn) from a 0.12 save. It gives you a decent starting area.

Re: [Enhancement] Allow naming trains and display in GUI
I second this. I would paint one pink and call it momtrain and it will carry thousands of explosives to the heart of the nests of those stinky natives.
Back on track: it would be a nice feature.

Re: Version 0.13.5
edit: oh its not on steam yet.. :) hehe It should be (and is for me), are you sure you haven't opted in to 0.13.4 specifically? Restarting Steam might also help. It wasn't at the beggining, but using the "experimental" branch you get the last build. You don't have to wait to see the relea...

Re: Version 0.13.5
If you are troubled with the map generation, switch to 12, generate the save and then load the save in 13. Magic.

Re: [0.13.1] "Research" button off the screen
Is someone still having this issue in 13.1? Can't exatcly tell how and when, but sometimes the button is in place, and sometimes it's not. Here is a screenshot of the research UI with the button correctly in place and the description above. But last time I played (half hour ago) it was outside the ...

Same here, windowed, 80% UI scale, Arch Linux x64.
Can see a bit of the button so I'm playing anyway

I can confirm that the fix for the Steam overlay in Linux works. Arch Linux x64, Intel GPU.

Re: [0.13.0] Crash on savegame load
Sorry, I don't have the 12.35. Overwritten :P Here is the savegame, it doesn't matter if I can't recover it. I just want to help you guys. As I was saying, this was a converted save that worked fine. Made some changes even (train stops and the awesome stack inserter). I loaded and saved it several t...

Re: Thank you (Make the dev-team happy today!)
I'm in work with my mind split in two: the half that works just to keep me alive and code a little, and the other half thinking a nice bluprint for extending my petrol mines, railway signaling and nightmares of native invasions. I'm in home with my mind split in three: the part of being sociable wit...

Re: Friday Facts #129 - The late game
And what about underground mining? Maybe add layers down (like Dwarf Fortress) but only below actual resources (to keep the logistics )
