Re: Brickbuild Factorio Designs

Yeah I saw 2 models of the spidertron on the web - and that was one of the builds i remember.
I will give it a try without looking at other designs first - I will struggle a lot I think...

But before starting that I need to fix something else: On some builds I went over the grid limits (assembler ...

Re: Brickbuild Factorio Designs

And another one:

Steel Furnace - My stupid brain told me that this can hold 2 modules but thats not in the game. Mine has 2 slots now, mby I will rework this section. The Burning chamber can also sled out and it can be rotated to switch between "on" (fire and stuff) and "off" (black wall behind the ...

Re: Brickbuild Factorio Designs

Waiting for the parts is hard - So I have to plan my next diorama...
It will be something early game as well. Electric Mining Drill direct feeding into a Steel Furnace then a inserter towards the Assembler putting gears or ammo into a wodden chest.

Here is the finshed Mining Drill design ...

Re: Brickbuild Factorio Designs

Around 134€ (117€ without shipping) for the whole Diorama. Its not ultra cheap, but definitely not a bad price.

Re: Brickbuild Factorio Designs

They told me that they need to wait for some parts so it will take 25-30 days to ship....
Instructions are completed and I already spotted some smaller mistakes so there will be a Version 2 for those builds. I will update as soon as I finished building the models, I think there might be more issues ...

Re: Brickbuild Factorio Designs

There is no "IF" any more - completed the diorama and ordered the parts already (2448 pieces).
I will post pictures as soon as I have something to show - but here are the renders of the complete diorama for now:

Re: Brickbuild Factorio Designs

Yes I will have instructions and part-lists ready at some point. But Wube has the licence so I dont know if thats allowed...

I used Bricklink Studio (Stud.io) for this. As far as I have read it replaced LDD.

Brickbuild Factorio Designs

My kids are old enough to play with Legos now and I wanted to satisfy my inner child and build a Factorio diorama.
I checked out existing desings but they are too big in my opinion and have some scaling issues.
So I found the software Bricklink Studio and started designing my own creations:

Scale ...

Re: New to circuits (since SE...), what do you think about this asteroid contrl logic?

I do it in a similar way to use the grabber buffers. Then i just insert into a sushi belt.

In your design it can happen, that the inserter before the sushi belt cant reach anything, doesnt it? If you requested 6 ice shard before and then you switch to metallic for example. Mby you can get rid of ...

Re: Sushi Mall (Set Recipe)

Seems like you found another weakpoint in my setup. So far that is not possible. Solid Input --> fluid output was not considered here. Mby I can adapt this...

Another (probably) solvable weakpoint is that it cannot create steel and stone. The recipe change for the input inserters does work ...

Re: Sushi Mall (Set Recipe)

That is pretty easy. Just route an input belt as the other base materials and activate the corresponding inserters if circuits are below your threshold.
On the combinator you can either not define red circuits (so the mall never tries to produce them on its own) or you can simply put them in with a ...

Re: Space Age DLC is a Cash Grab - It Should’ve Been a Standalone Game

I don't know, I see 35 bucks for literally ANYTHING in the industry as pretty cheap (aside from cosmetics and other worthless microtransactions in other games - but I do not buy that anyways).

In addition to that you got all the exact info what you get for that price, along with the fact that you ...

Agree 100%
it would make my engineer-life a lot easier.
Assemblers, belts, inserters. Probably also smelters if they apply the same logic as assemblers (set recipe, trash slots), but I don't know if that destroys current omni-smelter designs...

Sushi Mall (Set Recipe)

One of the few times I think I made something worth sharing:
A make everything sushi mall using the set recipe feature. It can pretty much make everything from base ingredients and can be fed externally as well. It does currently NOT make everything if you just copy the blueprint but all the white ...

1-1 Trains Only 1,1k Spm Base Teaser

Hello Community,

I think I made something in Factorio that is worth showing. I have never seen something like this before at least, so here is a quick Teaser (only 1:30 minutes so you can give it a shot mby).
