I don't know if its a bug or intended, but seeing how the flame thrower turret currently allows fluid flow in and out, I think the Sulfuric Acid from miners should also have this ability, although using a pump does pull the fluid out so there's that.

I've noticed a lot of lag trouble as well around steam engines/boilers in my factories. I'm forced to disable smoke on my laptop. My desktop has a beefier GPU and seems to be OK on the same save.

My idea is to add some sawmills, that help cut forrests. Why? Because it's little annyoing to run around and chop trees just to put some mines.
They can be powered with coal, or with electrity. But no need to add them, you can just blow trees with dunamites ar shot them down, but sawmills could ...

Idea #1 is already in the game, Aliens can migrate 3 chunks away from any player made base, and 3 chunks away from any alien base.

I think you're right, a warning should be given to the player if he/she plans to play with no aliens.

I like the idea of a Repair unit, perhaps an inserter like structure, with the size of 3x3, can repair at a certain radius, but slowly and only 1 at a time, and as you mentioned make it require repair packs.

With the popularity of Factorio rising day by day, I think new security measures needs to be added to prevent spam bots from being able to register and post unwanted... well.. spam, The moderators do remove them which is greatly appreciated, but I think it would be much more efficient if added ...
