I think most people would be fine with a single button "Separate Tanks".
So we get a 1-1-1 separation. 2-1 or 1-2 can be done manually.

Please add a "no starting lakes" option

It seems the map generator will try to put some of every resource in the starting area, but the starting lakes generate on top of the resources a lot of the time, resulting in bad starting positions.

Or maybe reduce the starting water to a tiny lake that wont interfere with the resources so much.

I think inserters are an important part of Factorio and loaders would be a bad idea.

What if you could store the energy for only 1 or 2 nights. e.g remove accus and use hot water storage from solar-thermal or electric water heaters for the storage. Water cools down slowly. Or have accus loose power over time (would be a little weird though) + weather / eclipses Solar would still be ...
