In my opinion combat robots should be auto deployable via the roboport network. In that case they would become an addition to turrets which could defend against unexpected angles. First thing I did was set up my toolbar in 0.17 to the most common things I use in the 4 slots.

Other tabs for less common things.

It took a few minutes to get used to, but if you take the time to set it up initially it becomes super useful.

Sounds like PvP scenario. There is a default PvP scenario you can host and try that out.

You guys never cease to amaze me.

Well done.

On another note, maybe make that empty spot above the armor into a second armor slot. This way players can swap between armor for building the base and armor for destroying biters.

This can already be accomplished in vanilla. Just place a train station where you want the train to go, and just set the wait condition to anything that will make it leave instantly. You could also disable the station you're unloading at by reading a red train signal behind the train that is unloading and send that signal to the station to close it.

Just be warned, when you have to inevitably upgrade to 0.16 (the release patch I believe) there may be changes to the game that may break your current 15.4 setups.
