From the screenshots it looks like you can't set the priority through signals though...

Re: Friday Facts #395 - Generic interrupts and Train stop priority

I'm not yet convinced that the new cool interrupt features allow us to completely control trains with circuits. The interrupts and the generic signals are very cool, but with generic signals only being able to take the signal type from inventory and not from combinators we can't tell trains where t...

Re: Friday Facts #395 - Generic interrupts and Train stop priority

So in 2.0, disabled trains stops will act as if they have 'Train limit = 0': I'm not yet convinced that the new cool interrupt features allow us to completely control trains with circuits. The interrupts and the generic signals are very cool, but with generic signals only being able to take the sig...

Re: Friday Facts #389 - Train control improvements

Right so I just implemented a mod that should solve the issue of circuit-dynamic routing through a very minimal change . Not saying that this should be implemented in the base game, but I do think I might be on the right track for how something like this could be done properly. I'm not sure how intu...

Re: Friday Facts #389 - Train control improvements

Train groups, interrupts and any other improvement will be welcome, and probably I will try generic schedules for some trains, but I doubt that it can fully replace a per request scheduling system. I reserve my final decision about generic schedules until I can use it myself, but until now it seems...

Re: Friday Facts #389 - Train control improvements

This is neat, but it doesn't feel like a proper revision of the system to me. The main issue that makes it inflexible is the lack of a way to dynamically control train schedules, and while these changes do kind of touch on that, the system is ultimately still static in nature. There's still no way t...
