I think I understand now.
In that case, why does my chemical plant not stop until it crafts 50 sulfur (stack size), instead of 6 sulfur (recipe yield * 2) ?

Why is this the case?
It seems strange to me to reference the output when the halted status is due to the input.
Would it not be more helpful / more accurate to say [Fluid ingredient shortage]?

The info pane can display a Chemical Plant's status as [Stopped, Output full] instead of the correct status [Stopped, Fluid ingredient Shortage].

Steps to produce:
1 Build a single Refinery crafting Basic oil processing.
2 Build a Chemical plant crafting Sulfur.
3 Connect Crude oil to the Refinery ...
