Also a cool detail I notice is the design continuity. I went back to https://factorio.com/blog/post/fff-410 to check out the Missile Turret, and it looks like it's actually inspired from these guys! It's got the head shape and the eyes, and it shoots missiles like Strafers shoot biological missiles!...
