Mixer Recipe deadlock

To produce drilling fluids you need to have mixers but you can't make mixers because you need washers to make them but there is no recipe for it. I have seen similar things for other stuff (not being deadlocked) but that you can't craft them, but in those cases there is a similar building from anoth...

Re: Tooltip overflow

Did you try changing the UI scale (settings -> interface -> UI scale -> custom) or dragging the recipes GUI to the top of the screen? Also I'd say the mods an item comes from isn't really necessary unless you want to debug something and then you should rather use the prototype explorer (ctrl+shift+...

Sodium carbonate and Sodium hydroxide, inserter and splitter filter.

When fixing my sodium carbonate supply i noticed that the new sodium carbonate is like a carton and the one i had before was like a round object. I've had similar problems all over the place but it's been easily fixed just by clearing all belts and letting the new item start to flow and changing fil...

Tooltip overflow

I have alot of mods and hovering over some items make the tooltip window bigger than my screen, so the bottom part of it is outside the screen where important information is. The only way to see it is to craft it and place it and click on it because then the "recipe", "made in" a...

Re: Powered rails

But i'm a little confused how this showing of mods is supposed to be "read"? The item says Bio industries -> combat mechanics overhaul but the recipe is Bio industries -> angel's refining -> pyanodons post processing -> Pyanodons post processing touched by an angel That means that bioindu...

Powered rails

What mod adds the powered rails? Okey it was apperently the bio industries mod but it showed up in Angel's vehicles tab when i looked it up in sandbox, so nvm then x) But i'm a little confused how this showing of mods is supposed to be "read"? The item says Bio industries -> combat mechan...

Crawler construction vehicle fuel and vehicle grid fuel

I think you forgot to add the "wood" tag as fuel for the crawler construction vehicle and the burner generator for vehicle grids, it looks like it's the same problem as the MK2 boiler had. https://snipboard.io/h5YdvQ.jpg https://snipboard.io/FWUcKz.jpg And i was skimming through the recipe...

Re: Have Some Questions Before I Buy.

First off, my friend told me that after you do a few runs in the game the process begins to get repetitive. I was just wondering how long into the game do you guys feel it gets a little boring? And are there good mods that could alter game play enough to enhance the replay value? I bought the game ...

Ores and aluminium.

When loading new terrain i sometimes get errors in log about failing to find ores, and it was basic ores like nickel and tin i think. I guess it's from bobores and that it conflicts with pyrawores or something but it worked before and i think it said back then that they should work (maybe this have ...

Re: OP Coal briquettes

Pyanodons Coal Processing did, in fact change the ratio of boilers to engines, but they hardcoded it only for the MK1 steam engines, as not hardcoding it would be basically impossible. I have not gotten around to changing the boilers/engines in Bob's power yet, which is why the ratio is off. I see,...

Re: OP Coal briquettes

PyCoalTBaA actually does fix Bob's stuff. Thanks for letting me know about how good it is, will make the recipes more expensive. [/quote] Ah okey, but i think those recipes are from bio industries, and that it mixes together charcoal and charcoal briquettes or something. Well it's all a mess it's h...

OP Coal briquettes

There's a difference between naphtha and naphthalene oil. However, you are right that Angel's naphtha and Py's naphtha were not merged. This has been fixed in dev. Nice, I also found a wierd thing regarding coal briquettes, i don't know if it should work this way, it seems a little too OP. Now, I c...

Solder mixture requiring tin but wrong tin

Is this something on my end that is wrong? Shouldn't tin be "homogenized" so it's the same across all mods? Tin plate in my inventory says Bob's Metals, Chemicals and Intermediates mod > Pyanodons Raw Ores > Angel's Smelting, and the tin plate in input slot in factory just says Angel's Sme...

Re: Friday Facts #393 - Putting things on top of other things

But for many taller items like barrels, stacking makes less sense, and for things like nuclear reactors it makes no sense. (It make no sense to even be able to put those on belts in the first place, but whatever. Also they probably should have a stack size of 1). Damn this post made my tummy hurt, ...

Re: Concrete is a silly feature... and I want more!

There is already a mod for this :D Albeit that it's required for everything. Here -> https://mods.factorio.com/mod/placeonconcrete Hmm, yeah, I'm not sure I'd want it required for everything. And on reflection, maybe even the required bit should be removed and made more optional in the sense of the...

Re: An option to display input and output per 60 seconds

Ah, if what SoShootMe said is accurate to the OP's request, this is something I don't much care about and would agree that this adds clutter unless it was an optional setting, or something that was just relegated to mods (a mod might be able to inject this calculated info for you into the tooltip)....

Re: PyCoalTBaA or the PyCoal Touched by an Angel Compatibility Patch

However i get more errors now, it looks like it's the same mod throwing errors as when i tried this mod compilation before (like a year ago). I tried to sketch up and colour code so it's easier to get a bigger picture on everything, i will stare at it for an hour or two and think a bit and come wit...
