One thing you're missing, is gates. Gates that go with the current tier of wall. Basically, I'm using stone strength gates with your concrete walls and aliens just bust through that like tissue paper late game. MK3 Solar Panel don't charge any accumulator in isolated network, but simply solar panel do.

The fact that almost all buildings have improved versions, or improved by technology research. At least possible to add one improved version of the wall, in case the existing walls will very quickly break down. And it will the choice of strategy - a stronger wall or more turrets.

The only problem with recipe unlocks at the moment that I have come across, is that they're unlocked upon completion of a research, if you list the recipe on more than one research, than unlocking either will unlock the item. Okay, fair enough, that makes sense, but what if I want it to unlock only...
