I would like to add that I came here with the same issue. I'd love to see a fix/change, so that items don't spoil at the end of an actively used belt.

See viewtopic.php?t=126925 for this bug in 2.0.34, including logs and a save file which I can use to reproduce this.

I can reproduce this using the save file at https://c-otto.de/crash_save.zip
Just go to Aquilo, find the steam turbine setup and delete it. After a few seconds of the bots doing their thing, the game crashes.

Can confirm. Driving a tank on vulcanus remotely while my engineer is in the space platform. When I press ESC (to see the menu), I switch between driving the tank and being in the space platform. I think pressing ESC should not let me (remotely) re-enter the tank, but instead show the menu.
