This seems to have been (at least partially) fixed by a recent update to pipewire. The log included still has some barely noticable crackling, but much less than before. It does not seem to register on recordings.

The game audio crackles when zoomed out in editor mode. Testing indicates that the crackling is coming from the music audio channel.
