yeah, its easy to avoid aswell, just dont run out of power haha.

i just thought its weird that it only happens to steel inserters and to me it felt like its unintended behavior

i reproduced it by just deleting a bunch of accumulators and have it run out of power ...

no, the screenshot was just to clarify which inserter is affected by the bug. i will reproduce it and upload the save with them being stuck.

I expanded my base so the power consumption increased and the accumulators were not enough anymore.
after hitting a complete power outage, roughly 50% of the inserters that are dedicated to pull steel out of a cargo wagon stop working forever until manual intervention.
