Ran both tests for RAM and CPU. No errors for either.

Only errors at that time were related to Windows Gamebar. SMART says drive is okay. I don't think I can rule out hardware. I think the I/O MIGHT be a red herring because we have had multiple crashes over the 100s of hours and it never crashed on a save before. I reported this because it happened on ...

Game crashed while saving. This is the 3rd or 4th time this game has crashed in 400 hours of play, I don't have logs from previous crashes. I will post future ones.
