Re: 0.15 - plans?

Instead of actually reworking the current rocket, you could simply use the space science pack in your progression and then make another rocket/satellite which would give out more/another type of space science.

Consistently impressive on your work and speed, thanks for your now-essential mods!

Re: Friday Facts #185 - Progress report

In any case, the graphics aren't done, they're playtesting without them but would never release in that situation. And as a dev myself, I agree that too much bug reports is not a good thing for all but the most obscure bug.

Big lag on mp with similar specs

My friend and I have been playing for a while on a modded game, as the game is not very multi threaded I run the server independently on my own machine so he can connect when I'm not there. Everything was all good for a while, until we hit the point where the server cannot keep up 60ups (100+ hrs wi...

Re: Development and Discussion

So, I'm doing a playthrough with all your current mods and it's absolutely great, I absolutely love the petrochem mod, it's a great addition to your suite of mods (my last playthrough was on 0.12 while petrochem was only talked about) the latest acid use on refining is a nice use of the new acids an...

Re: Friday Facts #141 - Mod Portal

Hello Honza =), must be great to work on factorio! There seem to be quite the controversy about the five star rating. I for one think the rating system is unneeded as a whole. Take for example Curse Forge which established itself as the main Minecraft mods platform (which is quite similar to the Fac...

Re: [0.12.33] Ultimate Mega Modpack

First, good job on your modpack! As already mentioned, a list of the mods and ideally a link to their respective mods would be great. You could look at the farlands pack for a great example. What is the focus of your modpack? There seems to be a lot of mods there and it's not clear what you tried to...

Re: [0.12.34] Modpack: Farlands v0.1.13

You could simply turn off the infinite ores in the starting area, there is an option for that in the RSO config. Ooh, that's nice, and any remote location would have an hard time dealing with the biter so pollution is a real issue, I like it =) sadly my game's a bit too late for that so I'll reduce...

Re: [0.12.34] Modpack: Farlands v0.1.13

I just noticed the angel infinite ores update, maybe it would be a good idea to tweak the minimum value down a bit. Currently @ 0.2 there's no actual need to leave the starting area. With the infinite ore you can simply put some advanced drill and some speed modules and get all the ores you want eas...

Re: [0.12.34] Modpack: Farlands v0.1.13

Yeah I agree some Misanthrope tweak would be nice. The only time we got any biter problem was when we never bothered cleaning them AND generated tons of polution. Evolution went as high as 70% but we started using efficiency module and it's back to 50%. Word of warning though, when they actually wer...

Re: [0.12.33] Modpack: Farlands v0.1.9

No need to, it's already integrated so there's an official patch you can download on the treefarm thread. https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=19124 It's should be the same as the one I linked, but from a more official source, so you should prefer that one =) But yeah, replace the cu...

Oh, yeah I guess I could have posted here and not just in the modpack thread.

Great work on maintaining the mod though, I never could stick to something for any period of time really. Guys like you are a live saver, happy I could help =)

Re: [0.12.33] Modpack: Farlands v0.1.9

Those lag spike where bugging me, especially for something so simple, so I fixed it. I sent them a pull request on git with the fix so we should get an official update soon. In the mean time, here's my version if you want.

Re: [0.12.33] Modpack: Farlands

Awesome pack, we're using it as initiation to modded Factorio, so far we love it. As for lag spike, my friend have a pretty average computer and we get a fair warning when one of the massive pack of biter decide it's time to attack, it just lag so much when hundreds of biter look for a path to our b...
