Re: Nintendo Switch version feedback
Anyone else notice on the cross play side, you need to use IP address over lobby on pc, but not on switch? Or am i just doing something wrong for cross play on switch, to pc? and pc to switch? Do you mean that the game does not show up in the list of LAN games on PC? I had this problem, it turned o...

Re: Factorio for Nintendo Switch is now available!
Im happy to hear it will be coming thats the biggest deal to me. For whatever reason, i can't find the switch address in the lobby when authenticated and with a active nintendo subscription. When i use the static IP i assigned to my switch locally, and my gateway ip when connecting externally, i can...

Re: Factorio for Nintendo Switch is now available!
How do i use KB/M on the switch version of factorio? I see the cross hair moving when i use bluetooth mouse, and 2.4/5ghz mouse and hardwired. But with keyboard, bluetooth and hardwired/dongled, it wont work. Is there a special setting i should be setting to enable it? I haven’t tried it yet. But a...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Stationary Fusion Reactors
Only here to say i've adopted the mod for maintenance only. If i get motivated enough to re-write the code to fix things im to lazy to do myself i will do it. All credit goes to the original concept designer though, Eradicator and the proof of concept that is this mod. Didn't mean to come off as ste...

Re: Version 1.0.0
Glad to have been apart of seeing this game grow. Good stuff guys. You've come so far, and now its finally over. Good stuff. Thank god for legacy support enabling mods with authentication on factorio.com and for those who want to authenticate on their own drm builds and what not. Good job!

Re: Version 0.18.26
Honestly If ya keep having arguments over whether refunded items should be a thing make it a map setting then its a game by game thing, like Ironman runs. What if we keep having arguments about having too many map settings, though? The solution is to have a tick that enables "extra" Map f...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Stationary Fusion Reactors
I was thinking option B, which is my original attempt as well as incorporating code or re-writing it entirely as a new mod. As for the api function I was actually going to create a visual basics application that uses the dll's i create, same as api but not on the web. Options b/c do not require any...

Re: Download mods when joining servers automatically
https://factorio.com/blog/post/fff-248 looks like 17 already has plans to sync mods with servers, but man it's been a long time coming, i really hope it makes it in! Yup on 18.x build. Seems like they did integrate it. Downloads from what appears to be the host which is great, because i literally c...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Stationary Fusion Reactors
That reads to me like you're describing how to manually add support for a few cherry-picked mods of your liking. That is already easily possible with the current mod architecture and requires only 1 or two lines of code for each supported reactor. I.e. you're totally overcomplicating the problem. I...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Stationary Fusion Reactors
Pretty much just appreciate the fact that they made a universal stack of 5 new fusion reactors with just their own code. Gives variety. Appreciate your mod for the proof of concept for making a installable reactor, helped me understand how to do that myself if I wanna write a mod. As for automating ...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Stationary Fusion Reactors
Okay figured out how to modify and correct the issues in the mod. Wasn't as hard as I thought. It really was just as simple as correcting graphical issues. As for the API situation, I guess I could build something to automate that functionality but I don't wanna steal your work. I've corrected the m...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Stationary Fusion Reactors
Attached pictures of what mods i use now since theres so many. But on build 16, it was my bread and butter combine with factorissimo it was a beautiful thing for making mobile and independent micro mobile bases. Newest mod that takes this concept to the next level is the warptario mod (as well as ne...

Re: [MOD 0.16] Stationary Fusion Reactors
Im hoping to see this incorporated into the 17.x build of factorio. I loved this mod during the 16.x builds and i wish to have it also on the 17.x build. If the graphics are the problem, all that needs solved is replacing the graphics? Im all in support with seeing this mod updated for 17.x and futu...

Antsle Servers
What hardware does everyone use to run their factorio servers? I was looking at buying a antsle one Pro, or to just run one off a a Dell edge R710 while using the ESXi as the host for virtualized vms. But im not looking to do any heavy lifting, but i understand the individual cpu cores are most impo...

Re: Factorio on new raspberry PI running Centos
Yeah i seen that, with the success of seeing it barely functional on the pi 2 model though was wondering what the difference in a pi3 model would make with more robust specs on the cpu front. The Ram though... i don't know how ill beable to compensate for that overall. But yeah wanted to see how i c...

Re: Factorio on new raspberry PI running Centos
Anyone try on a Raspbbery PI 3? I ask given the pi 3 supports x64, and i seen the success of running factorio on the pi 2 from this thread. https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=18128&start=30#p119301 Was hoping to get it running on the pi3 since the pi 3 b+ specs are as follows AR...

Re: Download mods when joining servers automatically
I completely agree with previous statements. Enable auto downloading the mods from the host server. For players who have limited bandwidth though... i suggest giving the option in the mods section to enable "auto mod download from server". This would be the easiest route for the player to ...
