Update Equipment Item UI for Valid Grids
TL;DR Please update the UI on items that are able to be placed in equipment grids to instead show the category of equipment they are. What ? My suggestion would be to instead make the item show a image/word of the type of equipment category they are. And to have in the actual grid screen have a mar...

Re: Friday Facts #394 - Assembler flipping and circuit control
While I appreciate all the work done for the Flipping I have an Honest Question, Why not just have it so after recipe selection have the building UI let you select what each fluid slot is for? The only Issue I can find with this would be mixed fluids being a possibility.

Re: Friday Facts #387 - Swimming in lava
Cant remember if this was talked about in a previous FFF but it was stated "Tungsten ore is hard to mine and normal mining drills aren't capable of it." is this done via a cap on ore "toughness" that regular miner drills can work on or is there a new system in place for requiring...

Re: Friday Facts #376 - Research and Technology
To get a quality item you REQUIRE a QUALITY MODULE, thus no module no quality item. Thus unless you are mix inputting an uncommon+ copper plate with normal plates that circuit design will not jam. Problem is that theoretically by implementing quality at intermediate steps you maximize the chance of...

Re: Friday Facts #376 - Research and Technology
The problem with quality effects is the same as dyson sphere programs proliferator mechanic; it forces seperation between machines, which leads to every setup being basically the same one-step-at-a-time production. More complex mechanics but simple, uniform solution. It destroys every non-standard ...

Regarding quality and mod making,
Can a Recipe be made to require a specific Quality part, Example Mod Science Pack requires Gear uncommon of higher to make?

I can now with 100% certainty know you have never worked or been near manufacturing. I can understand from that statement that statistic and interval for certainty is not something you use properly Look up what I said.. or just not do anything and blame me for pointing out IRL information your choice

Re: Friday Facts #375 - Quality
About RNG: [...] If you still cannot stand it, imagine the assembling machine that's outputting items of higher quality is only outputting the higher quality items. Not any trash. With a ratio of 10%, it's not outputting one desired item per second, it's outputting one desired item per 10 seconds. ...

Re: Friday Facts #375 - Quality
I guess my main mistake was to seriously try proving to delusional people that they are delusional. Fighting windmills, happens. I'd still like you to make an effort. Responding to a wall of text with "you're just delusional" is indeed fighting windmills, except you're the windmill. Doubl...

Re: Friday Facts #375 - Quality
No, you are not understanding my logic. If there is enough content to the expansion that I do not like, then I will simply not purchase the expansion. Plain and simple. This legit makes you sound really REALLY entitled. It sounds like if you bought a box of stuff and it had extra in it you would re...

Never said that I couldn't afford it. I also have never said yet that I'm not going to buy the expansion or drop the game. I'm fully aware that there's still more to be revealed, hence I am waiting on that before making a final decision. Ultimately, though, it doesn't matter if I got a million buck...

Re: Friday Facts #375 - Quality
I don't like this at all. I've always hated when games had random quality levels when crafting things. Levels of things like assemblers and modules are great. Also, I know I can turn this off but the feature will take up resources from development. Please REREAD the FFF THIS FEATURE was developed a...

All those haters better re-read the blog ...

I was able to get both exploration (needed to get this working for another mod im updating to take a look at the heavy tank and see what comparables i can do to make the other mod more unique) and Components and tech working relatively easily. I can post how and what the changes were if you would li...

Re: If it's not a feature - it's maybe a Bug ?
Tested with version 3/51 and I cannot get F7 nuatreel to generate on the map at all (looked around a map edit mode for 15 minutes even with just the base yuoki industries installed, Gonna do a full reinstall of Factorio to see if that fixes it as a bug might be there. EDIT1: Fresh install of Both Fa...
