I just tested the 2.0.19 Experimental Branch on steam, and could not find any freezes anymore.

Yeah, that is the same behaviour as my freezes. Makes it pretty unplayable

After updating to 2.0.15 this problem still exists, just with less of an impact, the FPS / UPS just drops to 50FPS/UPS rather than ~40.

since the last update (2.0.14), I experience constant lag spikes/game freezes every 10-20seconds.
