they plan to implement temporary stations so you can hijack any train and press on map to have the train drive you there. While all this is cool, when are you going to give me the ability to send a train directly to a station ID?
Currently trains have unique IDs, giving it to stations and allowing trains to be sent to station ID regardless of schedule using combinators would open up a world of possibilities

Hi again, what I meant in the Smart trains thread is that any system that loops through a station list etc. will have a very limited maximum throughput since you can only loop through so many stations per second. A very large system where you have hundres of stations might have to match and dispatch...
