Do you even have the discord anymore? All of the posted links have expired, and I can't even find you by using "MAelstrom#6959"

Just wondering how serious you are about working on this project.

The Space Exploration mod (actually, Informatron, a required dependency), keeps track of all its cargo rocket launches, so it must be possible for a mod to keep track of the vanilla satellite rocket launches.

Re: Version 1.1.0

if I select item '1' and place it, then select item '2', will it be replaced on the quickbar? No, you're fine. Personally I had trouble while switching spidertron remotes, I've got several of them in the second shortcut bar. I had learned to simply click without clearing cursor. I just need to lear...

Re: Version 1.1.0

I preferred the quickbar the way it was. Switching items in my hand now requires and extra keystroke to clear it. Or make it an option, please. I keep overwriting my shortcuts now with stuff I don't want there. very frustrating. people actually click these shortcuts? use the number keys on keyboard...

Re: Version 0.18.42

Ok, so it's NOT just steam that forces updates on us. I guess you have not read my response to you here https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?p=501589#p501589, since I have not quoted your post there. i did read that, and I understand steam is a big part of the problem. But when you said "...

Re: Version 0.18.42

Hmm, ok. I added explicit 0.18.42 branch and cleaned up some old ones. Ok, so it's NOT just steam that forces updates on us. I was on 18.35 until this morning, and had that explicit version selected under betas, but now, just about 1/2 hour ago, it updated me to current version, and selected "...

Re: Version 0.18.38

Why would you do that? Why was that a good idea? Did someone actually ask for that? Again, why? I have no idea why. As I stated in a post under 18.37, they decided to introduce a new major feature into their software when they are going to release the 1.0 version in just 2 weeks. To show why this w...

Re: Version 0.18.35

That's what I did (download the standalone and bypass steam), but that's just a crappy way to update, by forcing it back to stable. Why not set it to one of the other experimental versions, or even the latest experimental, but surely not to stable, when that's clearly not what the user wanted? The ...

Re: Version 0.18.35

Ok, either Steam's updater is broken, or factorio devs are forcing updates. I was on 0.18.24, and had that specifically set under Properties | Betas, and today it updated to the latest and "greatest." When I go back into properties, what is selected is not 0.18.35, not latest experimental,...

Re: Version 0.18.32

Who determines which versions of Factorio are available through steam? I have been on a specific version of the game (0.18.22) for a while now, but when I woke up this morning, steam says Factorio is queued for update. I check Properties, and under Betas, the "NONE, Opt out of all beta program...

Re: Nauvis Post Collapse (16GB ram minimum required)

I was able to load it up on mine. i'm currently on 0.18.22 and it loaded up successfully starting a brand new game with no mods, and also loaded up my 267-hour save from 0.17.65. I didn't do much, but run around a little and look at the map, but it did load up and run under those two situations. i d...

Re: Friday Facts #346 - He who does nothing, breaks nothing

well, the way posila was explaining the particular issues with the tiles, sounded like "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" to me -- The only way to make it a certainty that nothing would have broke would have been to do nothing. At times the proverb sounds like an advice... i heard it a lot ...

Re: Friday Facts #346 - He who does nothing, breaks nothing

In Czech we have a saying for which I have not found English equivalent. "He who does nothing, breaks nothing."
I think the closest English phrase would probably be: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." But maybe someone else could correct me.
