Episode 10 is now up.
I run into some problems with my factory layout. Quite a few issues to solve. Mostly because of my initial spawn (being nearly ontop of a small lake) my factory has kinda grown around it, making routing resources interesting So a fun episode in all.

Is there a possibility to create scripts which generate some attacks by aliens? If you can make a mod then certainly. Factorio seems to be very moddable. Personally I think the end game should just be: 1. BUild rocket defense 2. Every biter on the planet gets called to the location you just built 3...

So does that mean we have to choose one or the other? Do yourself a favor and just stay away from steam. Then can sell to others there but that doesn't mean it is something you need. I know I really don't want someone tracking what I do in a game, how long I play it etc. etc. You may be right about...

Ah I see. They must be connected somehow. Either that or a bug. I daresay its a connection somewhere that you're not seeing. When you don't have enough water (or its not hot enough), your steam engines will draw water faster to try and compensate. So yeah, water wasn't hot enough therefore it was drawing the water faster to try and get the production out of the steam engines. No sense in adding another pipe if your water...

Here: This pump is connected to 10 steam engines. Why only 0.5 water??? Looks like your steam engines are drawing more water than that lonely pump can supply. Actually, I would be much happier with them being like ant. In other word, not having a strange and artificial overlord, but having each being individually a bit smart, and the intelligence emerging from that. I like this idea more than the overlord one... Gives much more potential for one lone bit...

Probably oversight, this is alpha (albeit, an extremely complete and highly polished alpha compared to some other games). Ideally the computer core should be hidden inside a biter nest that you have to destroy before you can get it. The entire point of that mission is to practise military based cons...

The third one you can do in under a minute. Kill the biter base around the crash, then do a leeroy jenkins right into the middle of the lower base and snag the computer core.
