Re: Friday Facts #168 - Nightvision Nightmare
The last paragraph somehow made my hopes go higher that we will not need to reboot the game every time a mod is added or updated. This would be very, very nice. When i was updating my game, the game had to close and reopen about four or five times until everything was right... Heat Vision would be ...

lol, and people are just like "uh, you should make it the same length". little did they know how much actually is required to make the trains the same in both directions. Onto the loader, I think you guys should draw some inspiration from real life. Get like a hopper or something going. Th...

Re: Friday Facts #129 - The late game
the changes to resource generation are badly needed, so that sounds really good. Please model it off RSO. I'm actually genuinely hyped for a Kovarex version of RSO, because I know it'll be great. RE: late game mining drills... I like the idea, not the concept of adding another gameplay mechanic thou...

Grats on the smooth release guys. We'll see what kind of traction the game gains with the community. There are quite a few people hoping the game goes big and in the coming weeks we'll see. With 0.13 upcoming, that's the perfect time to carry this great release momentum over and start to convert a l...

Congrats to Klonan. He should be a good fit to the team and he already knows the community and the community already knows him so there's no way he can fail
No but seriously, Klonan, good luck! If Factorio goes big, you're gonna need it!!!

Re: Friday Facts #115 - The power switch
Compilation times in C++ suck. The fact that I have to wait 3 and half minute whenever Factorio is recompiled makes me impatient and ineffective. Hey, compiling can be a lot of fun ! Ninja'd. Hey guys, regarding voice acting, why don't you use fiverr for that? You can get professional-level voice a...

Re: Balancing railway tracks? or fast track & slow track?
I heard back from Hanziq. He's the guy that looks after the trains in Factorio. Basically, the path finding does look ahead and will avoid trains in front of it. But it can't tell if they are moving fast or slow. To answer your question, you can force a balancing of the track lines through crossover...
