[0.17.15] Blueprint library gone
Updated from 0.17.14 where all my blueprints were available, to 0.17.15, and all my blueprints are gone. Attempted to revert to 0.16.51 and load an old save game (some random advice) and that royally screwed the pooch as Factorio destroyed the .backup file. I didn't know where blueprints were stored...

Allow player-naming of Network Cells
Allow players to name network cells (when cells are created, merged or split) When using L to look at networks, only network numbers show up, with no corresponding display on the map as to what network is where. A naming system for Network Cells would aid in finding cells that are of interest. Optio...

Re: split signals
If you want to send multiple unique 'copper ore' values, then using the Copper signal is no good, since the values are summed. Mine South: 1.2M copper Ore Mine North 1.9M copper Ore resultant Signal 3.1M Copper Ore ... I am trying to do the same reporting and it's very difficult to wrap my head arou...

Re: Factorio version 0.16 - Now stable
Slight quirk: Rain artillery, not 'reign' artillery.
Congrats on stable release. Look forward to further tweaks and upgrades.

Re: Friday Facts #220 - The best Friday Facts ever
I keep checking Steam, and keep seeing no new Download information. It's Wednesday in Australia already. :) But no 0.16 yet -- they usually release on Monday/Tuesday so this is a bit enervating (as in, I am too weary to continue with my existing 0.15 game because I'm excited about 0.16 being just ho...

Re: [MOD 0.14] Upgrade planner - v1.2.7
Build upgrade planner, re-enable "Picker Extended Version" and it still works fine. Thankyou for posting this solution. It has helped me twice now. I forgot how I fixed it the first time I used the mod. On my subsequent map, I got to the stage where I needed the upgrade planner tool, and ...

Request/Idea - Power Armor 'locomotive' module
The premise is that with this mod, a piece of equipment you place into modular armor, you can literally hop onto a track, and go to stations (as though you were a locomotive, with access to the train stop list). Power could be from the Personal Fusion reactor, or using other fuels (wood, solid fuel,...

Teleportation Tunnels for vehicles/trains
Peter F. Hamilton used the idea of warpgates in his novels (see Pandora's Star, or the Void Trilogy). He especially likes the idea of having interstellar train systems using these wormholes. Factorio would benefit immensely from this technology. Have a pair of warp gates between any two points, and ...

I had to try it. Just for the make-work. Thanks Dave. Oh, and your video player (Sandstorm) is just insane!

Re: Friday Facts #159 - Research revolution
Research, no Alien bits required for Purple, yay. PvP? I'm really against PvP multiplayer, because inevitably, I think people are cheating. It doesn't matter if they are or not (and yes, I know intimately how FPS games have cheats, because I've used them to see how they worked), and eventually gave ...

Re: Friday facts #158 - The end of the 32 bit era
It's a classic case of <anyone> being unable to please all of the people all of the time. If people didn't get their $US20 worth from the current STABLE release (0.13) then they haven't played enough to be a part of the audience that the developers actively encourage and develop -for-. 32 bit suppor...

Re: Friday facts #158 - The end of the 32 bit era
It's obvious to me that 32bit has been dead for ages. It's obvious to me that people who still use 32bit systems should not be whining that a hardware intensive job game required a capable processor (and operating system). This doesn't mean that the transfer from Windows XP to Windows 10 64bit will ...

Re: Just bought the game; What were Your first impressions?
I recently found out about this game from a chance comment in a CCP Grey podcast, when he mentioned the game as one he still plays. I'd never heard of it before last week. Found the demo, and puttered around in it, got dismayed by the gathering chores stopped to recuperate, and went looking for revi...
