Using the design I noticed that when you have stack inserters with a stack size of 8 the blue belt can't handle the flow, Adding a chest buffer before the belt solves the problem trough. Great design
Edit: Oh, forgot about the inserter condition xD

Re: More Realistic inventory hardmode
I think such a mode could find its target audience for people that want more of a challenge and more realism when playing. This could also include, making a lot of objects craftable only in assembler, and disable picking up vehicles.

Re: Re name/classify the science packs
So, just a graphical change for the science pack visuals, I am totally for this, apart from making sense I think it would look cool.

Re: Trying to optimize roundabouts
As soon as i learned how to make roundabout train system i noticed they get a lot of hate for their impact on performance in larger factories and they are also highly inefficient in some cases but allow you greater flexibility when making stations. And let's not forget 1-headed trains.

Re: PvP/Co-Op Related features
I think this will allow players to better deal with greifers without admins and limit damage while also creating possibilities for other types of gameplay. Structures need to be improved vs players because all your security is moot if someone can destroy or pick up your wall/building/turrets in 2 se...

PvP/Co-Op Related features
Since the developers showed interest in PvP I was thinking that a few features required by that development could find themselves used for Co-Op. As it stands, to avoid griefing servers permanently need an admin to kick players but that's not enough since they can do a lot of damage in a short amoun...

Re: Little Quirks
Vehicles snap to angle: Don't know if this is requires a thread of if t can be considered a quirk but i find it very annoying when driving on roads and i have to continuously adjust my direction because i either hit trees or step on the railway, especially when using a fast moving vehicle. I suggest...

Re: Combat Improvements
Enemies: I think the suggestions in this group would be too much of a hassle in respect to the added benefit to the gameplay. Scanners: - Scanners do work together, in the area they cover they scan the tile that was not scanned the longest. - I like the idea of scanners enabling turrets to target en...

Remove guns and green ammo
These items become obsolete really fast, I think their existence is more of a nuisance at the moment while mid game weapons like the rifle and the shotgun have a better lifespan. the shotgun could be moved to become a tire 1 weapon to fill the gap.

Re: Uranium and nuclear power
I do not really agree on uranium processing generating too much pollution, solar panels have a big advantage because they do not generate it, I think the focus should be placed on waste management and maybe radiation as downside. I fully support any suggestion that nerfs laser turret creep and gives...

Re: Nuclear Power from a Nuclear Engineer
I couldn't really read the whole thread but I got a few basic idea on which I agree, maybe make a summary: - Reactors should use a lot of water, 3pumps, that would make them a 5x5 building. - We need cooling towers because they add to the puzzle and look cool, give that power-plant aesthetic, you co...

Re: Friday Facts #159 - Research revolution
Hello, I've been playing Factorio for a while but registered this account to get a few opinions in and maybe do a few other things while I'm at it. Science 1. Research - I like the fact that it is changing, the current system is a bit linear or rather it's more like a parable when it comes to resear...
