Are you running at a GUI scale? If I turn my GUI scale down to 100% I don't get the lines, and if I set it to other values, the lines move to other places in the map

Killing aliens is not the main purpose of the game. The Factory is, and the aliens are only a nuisance that tries to prevent us from doing so. I suppose that's true, the incentive to kill the aliens is so you get attacked less. I didn't like the old artefacts, felt weird that the ultimate research ...

I'd personally be in favour of it being 100% chance to remove by default for concrete, maybe not for bricks though, makes sense that plants could grow between bricks.

I'd personally be in favour of it being 1.0 by default for concrete, maybe not for bricks though, makes sense that plants could grow between bricks.

I like the idea of turning the fragments into something helpful, give an incentive for combat. One of the arguments for getting rid of the alien tech was that it allowed people the choice to play fully passive, but it's kind of taken away any benefits of playing fully aggressive. I'm currently playing through trying to get the "no solar" achievement and I've noticed that one of the ingredients to making a portable solar panel is 5 normal solar panels, but I haven't done that research yet and can't make them. I think it'd make more sense if before you could research...

I'm now getting the same thing vertically.

If it makes any difference, I'm running at 171% GUI scale

Edit: Just noticed the vertical line was also in my original post, I just didn't notice it

I've got these weird lines on my minimap but not on my actual map. http://i.imgur.com/3MSSEJm.png Even more interesting, the horizontal one goes away if I stand at a certain y value. I've attached a save where I'm standing at the y value where it doesn't appear. Walk north or south and it should app...

Having an issue where placing concrete removes some but not all of the doodads / plants / shrubs.

I'm having some issue using the mod screen with UI scaling on a 4k monitor. The game does a great job running at "System default (200%)" scale, but the Install Mods screen goes off the bottom of the window, hiding the "install" button. This is the correct scale for my resolution....
