speed is quite usefull for research centers. atleast i don't care if it costs less power or creates a bit more. Speed is key for the big parts (since i hate waiting^^)

hmm it was enough to get them to 80% around what already was way more then enough for it. I think the main diffrence is that all my pumps operate on their own little tank while all your water seems to run though 1 single pipe. plus it's realy just as a form of last resort, that most likely will neve...

create a pump and set that to a internal logic. <-- that way you can store huge amounts of hot water in case you need to run the system. Atleast in theory it could work. Since pumps don't work without energy. But i can't realy test it out right now since my base produces way to mutch energy to ever ...

well sadly it still woudn't work for my setup since i store hot water. I kinda thought i could create a on off switch somehow that would use my stored water somehow only when i need it.
might be something they add in a future patch

ah .. that would never work for me since i use wood for my trains and i got like 20k of that shit left^^
hmm gotta find something that i only have a few of then.

you didn't exactly say how it would start the whole system when you don't have power.
sure that box has 0 wood then, but how would that start the system? or am i missing something

but ive learned that you can create 2 power networks, didn't know that actually works. So thanks for that part.

jup, well i mostly put most of my value on the overall look as posted in my other thread (http://i.imgur.com/PoxB220.jpg) but it's still quite surprising how mutch land i loose in the process. i think time till the turrets work would be the best thing. especially against the BIG camps your guns do shit, combat shotgun, 10 destoryer, grenades .. and it still takes more then a few minutes to kill the big blue monsters. or not letting it build withing a radius of xy. i like going in destroy ...

hmm that mod would give me a bit more free space sure, but i hardly need that. i'm currently building solarpowerworld and savethaengergy. since i got rid of most enemys i'm pretty wide open to put down stuff wherever i want :D
